I, Omar Ul Haq, of cracked mind & athletic body (Not) am a Bahraini born Pakistani, educated in the US, having worked in London, and now a Burnetter in Dubai.

As some of you know – I love to chase.

I chase because it’s necessary.

You have to chase in the race to get to the front of the line.
I have experienced this the hard way.
You can chase anything you want.
a career,
a loved one, friendship,
or even success
and though you may not get all of it..
what’s the excitement in achieving anything without a challenge?

Now that the lesson is over… let the chase begin.

Well said. Aside from being said eloquently this “About” page has been most informative. I now have better insight into the word and what I must say is a most appealing concept. Happy Chasing.

    Ah ha.

I see. So that is what the chasing is all about.

It is indeed a concept with much appeal. Particularly if you catch whatever it is that you are chasing…

  9. Really impressed with the articles. Very insightful! Thanks!!

  10. Hey Chotu, great job. Keep up the good work. I am glad you are writing about our older artists about whom our younger generation does not know anything. I liked the write up on Reshma. I am not too happy about the comments on Meera though.

The pictures from the different camps are very expressive. Please do write about soldiers and officers who have been martyred recently. One tv channel interviewed the family of a shaheed major recently and also showed pictures of other officers. Do some research and write about them.

I really like Bilal Maqsood’s paintings. Still thinking about getting one.

Well done. You have made us proud.

  11. Hi OUH,
Came across your blog….your writing is fabulous! Very unimposing, insightful, simple and just good old straight-from-the heart stuff. It most certainly entertained me and made for a fun read (as much as I had time to meander through). Keep up the good work, you are a natural at it.

May I introduce myself.I am a journalist associated with Jang group for the last 44 years. Now a days I am working in Geo TV Network as Director.I was chief reporter when your father was about to join politics after the shahadat of your grand father Gen.Ziaul Haq and I was the one who interviewed your father along with Humayun Akhtar in Pearl Continental Karachi. That interview was the first one that was published in all editions of Daily Jang in Sunday Editions. That interview later on proved to be the Policy statement of the principles, your father was to follow in the years ahead.
Any how, I do congratulate you for being the proud grand son of late Gen. Ziaul Haq Shaheed.
